What is a Stretching and Flexibility Coach?

A Stretching and Flexibility Coach is a specialist who creates personalized stretching programs to prevent injury and increase the flexibility of clients. They are experts in progressing individuals to peak stretching performance.



CHAPTER ONE: Introduction to Integrated Flexibility
Understand the rationale for integrated stretching and identify for whom it provides the most benefit for.

CHAPTER TWO: Scope of Practice
This chapter provides an overview for identifying appropriate and ethical behavior with regard to application of integrated stretching. Determine when to refer out to another professional.



CHAPTER THREE: The Science of Flexibility and Stretching
Understand the spectrum of flexibility as it pertains to different tissue types and systems. Describe the motor behavior as it pertains to stretching.

CHAPTER FOUR: The Anatomy and Kinesiology of Fascia

There are no prerequisites for this course. Although the course is primarily intended for personal trainersfitness coaches, massage therapists and other fitness/health professionals, it is not a requirement to take the course.
