ABOUT THE BETTER CALL DOC

PAIN THERAPY PRACTITIONERS

Better Call Doc has two types of specialties extended to fitness professionals.

1) We call our pain therapy team Better Call Doc Pain Therapy Practitioners (PTP's). They are practitioners certified by an extensive post-graduate specialty program. Pain Therapy Practitioners work directly with patients assisting them in the relief and management of their pain (acute, sub-acute and chronic).

2) Trainers who assist patients with active therapy are called Brave Health Active Therapy Fitness Practitioners. This program does not require post graduate certification training with BCD. Rather, it involves a registry process with Dr. Rice. The Brave Health practitioners can work in the fitness environment on an individual or group format. Patients must be under the care of Dr. Rice to qualify for active therapy with a Brave Health Active Therapy Fitness Practitioner. Benefits for trainer registry in the Brave Health program involves clinical and diagnostic input from Dr. Rice and extended billing privileges with patients' personal insurance health benefits, if present.

Our therapy practitioner graduates (Pain Therapy and Brave Health Active Therapy) are available for both clinic, fitness, corporate on-site therapy, home care visits and tele-medicine consults/therapy.
